Broccoli!

This year I decided to try gardening in pots. Strawberries were a complete bust and the herds are doing fine. We have already had a few onions, yum-mo! We are starting to get blooms on the jalapenos plants, with one jalapeno already growing! There is a green pepper trying to grow, but unfortunately I put it in with the broccoli and I think it is going to be smothered out. The broccoli is doing amazing! Well, at least I think it is. I have never done broccoli before, so I assume it is doing what it should!

My dear husband. He makes me just shake my head sometimes. He decided last weekend that he needed to sharpen the blades on the lawn mower. The car jack would not work (don’t remember why), so he rigged up a pulley system. Really? No telling what our neighbors think of us now!

Splashin' with Koby

This past weekend my nephew had a baseball tournament in Claremore, so they decided to stay with us. The kids of course loved that because the totally awesome and totally cool cousin Koby was here!

On Saturday we went to a local splash pad, which the kiddos just loved!

Mother's Day

Due to work, I was in Rhode Island for Mother’s Day. Brian actually came out for the weekend and we had a great time exploring the area. Although I missed the kids, it was great to have some alone time with Brian.

Here are a few pictures I received over the weekend. While with Mame’ & Pape’, they built a fire, picked flowers for me and played dressup.

I feel so incredibly blessed to be their mom!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Last weekend we went to the OU/OSU baseball game. They played here in Tulsa at the Drillers stadium. Unfortunately the Sooners lost, but we had a great time! I think we had around 18 people in our group – fun, fun times!
