This past weekend we made a trip to Kansas City. We stayed with our old neighbors, which the kiddos LOVED because they were with Kailee & Kelsey! It was really fun the first night we were there because another one of our old neighbors came over too!
Before we left town Sunday morning, we met up with my friend Linda and her husband John. I didn't get any pictures (bummer), but we had a really good time. Luckily we were able to eat outside, so the kiddos had some room to roam while we visited!
Here are just a few pics of our fun, fun Kansas City weekend -

Washington Friends
We had the best time catching up with Jan & Liz Watkins the other night. They have been family friends forever - I don't remember them not being in my life. They used to call Cushing home, but now home is in Washington. They were in Oklahoma visiting and ended up spending the night with my parents. So, we took full advantage and went over to have dinner with them. It was so great seeing them, even if it was for just a few hours. We miss them so much and cannot wait until we get to see them again!

Making a Snack
Abs and Brayden are ALWAYS wanting a snack. I get tired of giving them the same things over and over, so I decided it was time we make our own snacks! On Sunday we bought the ingredients (cereal, raisins, dried blueberries, marshmallows, peanuts, goldfish and peanut butter chips) and I let the kids go at it after they napped. It was super fun to do and the kiddos cannot quit talking about ‘the snack they made’. We put them in little 2 oz containers, so they are the perfect size for snack time.
Tonight Abby thought we needed to take a snack to Dale & Sue (our neighbors). So, we took a couple over to them and they got a kick out of it. The sweet neighbors they are, they acted very excited to get a snack – which made Abby’s day!
