Yesterday we got a couple of inches of snow. Daycare closed early, so Brian went and got them. When they got home, Abs came running into the house squilling at the top of her lungs for me to come outside and look because "there is snow everywhere - even in the back yard!". She definitely knows how to bring a smile to my face!
Needless to say, the kiddos were SUPER excited to go outside and play in it. They worked with Brian to build a snowman, Brayden kept having snow ball fights, Abs attempted snow angels and hand-stands in the snow and Coal - well, he didn't know what to think about it!
Here is to adventures in the snow ...

Happy Birthday, Koby!
How is it that my first nephew turned 11 this week? I swear, it feels like yesterday we were driving to Coffeyville to meet him for the first time!
For his birthday, he chose Mexican (no complaints from me!). This time everybody was able to make it - too bad I didn't get a picture of the whole family! There are SEVERAL pictures of Brayden and the cake. Seriously, this boy was OBSESSED with the cake! He kept walking over to it and looking at it. And yes, BRAYDEN was the one who blew out the candles - not Koby. Koby is such a good cousin! Of course all the kids had to get their picture with the sombrero!
All the kids had such a good time, which is clearly seen in the last picture.
Happy 11th Birthday, Koby!

February RAK, Blackmail, Crafts and Bathroom Makeover
This post is full of information!
First, we did our February RAK (random act of kindness) for somebody we know last week. We took dinner to our incredible neighbors we had at our last house. We made them a meatloaf, broccoli & cheese casserole, chocolate chip cookies and a couple of heart valentines. We had a good time dropping it off and visiting with them for a little while. Our RAK for somebody we don't know is giving away some of our gently used clothes, shoes, toys and books to another family. I think Abs is starting to get the RAK because she did something for somebody the other day and she said "that was kind, right"? That made me feel really good.
Upstairs I have a pile of clothes that needs to be donated. In the pile is an OU cheerleading outfit that is a size 18 months. Well, one day Brayden came down wearing the outfit! Yes, Brayden wears a size 3T and somebody was able to squeeze into an 18 mth outfit! I think these pictures will be used for blackmail later in life!
This weekend cousin Brailee came over for a sleepover. On Saturday, they went to Michael's to do a craft project. They made Valentine bags. The girls did so good tracing, cutting and gluing!
Finally, we did a makeover on our half bath - or as Abby calls it the green bathroom. I keep forgetting to do 'before' pics, but it basically had hunter green wall paper and a pedestal sink with a gold faucet (not our style). We have used the 'rip & tear' wallpaper several times before and so we figured it was only appropriate to include it in this house! We worked on this project Saturday night. We ran out of paper, but it is nearly complete. I am really pleased with how it turned out. Abs cannot figure out what to call it now since it is no longer green!
Here are lots of pictures ... enjoy!
