I figured it was time to give an update on Brayden and some of the funny things he is doing.
First, I say this all the time but it is so hard for me to realize that he is 2. He is a little bit bigger than Abby, so I keep thinking he is 4 like her. We are constantly reminding ourselves that he is only 2.5!
He absolutely L.O.V.E.S. the color RED. He sings the 'R-E-D, RED, I can spell RED' song ALL-THE-TIME! Everybody around him knows that firetrucks are red, stop signs are red and daddy's truck is red too. He only wears RED shoes, likes his RED pants the best, RED shirts are a must, RED panties are his favorite and of course RED socks work great too! Want to get on his good side - talk about RED. Some of the funnier things he has said about red include - 1)showing him the toy catalog and asking him which one he wants for Christmas ... the RED one. 2)talking to him about the Presidential elections and asking who he wants to vote for ... the RED guy. 3)him listing Quik Trip as one of the RED things ... yep, go there WAY too much!
My parents save cans and let the grandkids take turns selling them. People love that my parents do this so now some of their friends save the cans and give them to my parents! Well, this past weekend it was Brayden's turn to sell the cans. He was super proud of himself - he ended up making $16!
I will wrap up by saying that he is still having problems with his ears. :( We went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago for a checkup and the doctor didn't like that he still had fluid in one ear. So, we have to go and get tubes put in for a second time. :( I am NOT looking forward to this only because I didn't like how upset he was the last time he woke up from surgery. I am hopeful that he will wake up less upset this time. I am also hopeful that this time the tubes will work. The poor guy has had ear infections almost his entire 2.5 years. I am ready for him to start feeling better!
Enjoy some pics of my cute boy ...
1) When I checked on him one night, he had put on his shoes ... NO idea why
2) Yep, he is wearing one of my old cheerleading tops and Halloween tights
3) The next day he still needed to wear his outfit, but he added a hat and Auntie Man's socks as gloves
4) One cool dude!
5) Enjoying some time at the park
6) Taking cans in to sell

Happy Fall and House Update
With my sister in town, she took a couple of pics with all of us. It is very hard to get 4 people looking at the camera at the same time, but we managed to get a couple. I just love the colors that come with Fall!
After LOTS and LOTS of looking, we FINALLY found a house! I seriously could not believe how hard it was to find one! But, the constant looking finally paid off. Probably our favorite feature of the house is that it sits on an acre, which was something we really wanted. We have the master bedroom and office on the main floor. The kids rooms, guest room and game room are all upstairs. We are also extremely happy with the location and the school district we are in. We don't close until the end of the year, but it will be here before we know it. Here are a few pictures of the front yard and one from the back yard looking towards the house - we cannot wait until we can call this home.

Shoes, shoes, shoes!
My sister and niece came over this weekend. On Saturday my sister and I were able to get away for a little while during nap time. While at the mall, we found a store with the most ADORABLE shoes, which were very affordable - I only spent $60 on 5 pairs of shoes!
I seriously could have bought a dozen pairs of shoes for Abby, but I held back and only bought 3 pairs for her! Since Abs loves her high-heel shoes, I opted for 1 dressy high-heel, 1 high-heel boot and then a pair of flats. I am happy to report that she loved them all!
I bet you wish you had a pair of these! Enjoy -

Lunch with the Littlepage's
Yesterday my mom's family (Littlepage) had a lunch at her house. Although one of her brothers and most of my cousins were not able to make it, it was still great seeing and visiting with those who were able to come. As always, we had way too much food and hated saying goodbye to everybody.
Here is to adventures with lunching with the Littlepages ...

Happy Halloween!
This year the kids got to pick out their costumes. Abs wanted to be a black witch because that is what Stella (a friend from school) was going to be. Brayden wanted to be a fireman because he got to wear a hat and his yellow boots.
We started the morning off at school. They got to have a parade there, which they got TONS of candy. After school we went to see dad at work. All of his coworkers have candy at their desks so they literally just went up and down all the aisles getting candy. In their eyes, life just didn't get much better than that! Abby was super-excited because her friend Halliegh was there. Finally we went trick-or-treating. We only went to one house, but it was the best house - Dale & Sue and puppy dog Zach. They took snacks to Zach and got to play with him for a little bit.
It was a very fun day - cannot wait until next year!
