I figured it was time to give an update on Brayden and some of the funny things he is doing.
First, I say this all the time but it is so hard for me to realize that he is 2. He is a little bit bigger than Abby, so I keep thinking he is 4 like her. We are constantly reminding ourselves that he is only 2.5!
He absolutely L.O.V.E.S. the color RED. He sings the 'R-E-D, RED, I can spell RED' song ALL-THE-TIME! Everybody around him knows that firetrucks are red, stop signs are red and daddy's truck is red too. He only wears RED shoes, likes his RED pants the best, RED shirts are a must, RED panties are his favorite and of course RED socks work great too! Want to get on his good side - talk about RED. Some of the funnier things he has said about red include - 1)showing him the toy catalog and asking him which one he wants for Christmas ... the RED one. 2)talking to him about the Presidential elections and asking who he wants to vote for ... the RED guy. 3)him listing Quik Trip as one of the RED things ... yep, go there WAY too much!
My parents save cans and let the grandkids take turns selling them. People love that my parents do this so now some of their friends save the cans and give them to my parents! Well, this past weekend it was Brayden's turn to sell the cans. He was super proud of himself - he ended up making $16!
I will wrap up by saying that he is still having problems with his ears. :( We went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago for a checkup and the doctor didn't like that he still had fluid in one ear. So, we have to go and get tubes put in for a second time. :( I am NOT looking forward to this only because I didn't like how upset he was the last time he woke up from surgery. I am hopeful that he will wake up less upset this time. I am also hopeful that this time the tubes will work. The poor guy has had ear infections almost his entire 2.5 years. I am ready for him to start feeling better!
Enjoy some pics of my cute boy ...
1) When I checked on him one night, he had put on his shoes ... NO idea why
2) Yep, he is wearing one of my old cheerleading tops and Halloween tights
3) The next day he still needed to wear his outfit, but he added a hat and Auntie Man's socks as gloves
4) One cool dude!
5) Enjoying some time at the park
6) Taking cans in to sell
