This past Saturday we celebrated Brayden’s birthday. We went to mame’ & pape’s house and road a tractor (way fun!), had a piñata, enjoyed lunch and finished off with cake and presents. I don’t think birthday’s get much better than that!
Since we were at ‘the farm’, the kids had to feed the cows and Brailee showed off by riding donkey!
Abs and Brayden were trying to figure out who could hang on the longest – ha!
For the piñata, we started with Brayden – then Abs – then Brailee – then Brett – finally Koby was able to get it!
As usual, mame’ stepped up to the plate with another amazing cake! Brayden LOVED it – thanks again mame’!
Cousin love … need I say more!

Happy Birthday, Brayden!
Where do I even start? I still cannot believe it was 3 years ago yesterday that we welcomed our son into the world! This boy really knows how to push my buttons, which I think I will be dealing with for the rest of my life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love this phase of his life because he still thinks the world of Abby – she can do no wrong in his eyes. YES, they fight – but boy does he love that girl! I also love watching the way he looks up to Brian!
A few of Brayden’s favorites ….
… the color RED
… corn dogs
… football
… Tigers (more below)
… anything outside, especially if it involves dirt or sand!
My dad calls Brayden “Tiger”. He always has and I think he always will. You will ask Brayden what Pape’ calls him and he very proudly says TIGER! I think this is why he is getting a love for tigers. He has a pair of orange shorts that my mom embroidered a tiger on. Those are his FAVORITE shorts and he wants to wear them ALL.THE.TIME! Yes, they are too small now but we still wear them! He also has an orange tank top with a tiger hear on it – again, a shirt that he wears anytime it is clean. His latest favorite with tigers is the song “Eye of the Tiger”. The boy will literally stop everything and start dancing/boxing to the song. It is the funniest thing!
We were in North Carolina for his birthday due to my work schedule, so his birthday was celebrated in our hotel room with a cupcake. We will have his party this weekend – fun times!
Happy Birthday, Brayden! I feel pretty lucky that I am able to be your mom and experience life with you. I look forward to seeing what you experience as a 3 year old!
Brayden's friends at school made him a birthday card. I love how they all signed their names!

Outdoor Fun
The past few weeks we have had a lot of flowers and trees bloom. I was able to grab a couple of pics with Abby enjoying the blooms.
One night the kiddos enjoyed cotton candy. As you can see, they clearly enjoyed it!
A while back we bought a wedding shower gift. Abs was with me, so she helped pick out the bag for the gift. She just knew that the bride-to-be would L.O.V.E. the princess bag because the bride was going to be a princess! How do you argue with that?!? Let's just hope the bride thought the same thing.
When I was getting my pictures off the camera, I noticed that Abs decided to play photographer again. It is fun to see life through her eyes. Hope you enjoy her photography!
