Just warning you in advance, we had a really busy Easter weekend so this post is going to be a long one! Go grab something to drink and come back for a while.
We started Easter on Friday at school. The kids had their Easter egg hunts. I had Good Friday off, so I was able to make it there for their hunt. Both kids had a really good time and got lots of fun stuff. Brayden went first and then Abby's class had their hunt. Brayden's teacher is Ms. Meagan and Abby's teacher is Ms. Risa. They both L.O.V.E. their teachers! To get the kid's attention, the teachers say if you can hear my voice touch your head .... touch your chin ... touch your ears. So, that is why he is touching his chin. And yes, I was following along with the director! Also, for the record - Abs picked out her own outfit and SHE wanted her bows turned upside down so she could have 'rabbit ears'.
On Saturday, we started off by going to our church for an Easter egg hunt. The hunt was inside because it was raining here. They had bounce houses for the kids to play in, which they loved! Their favorite bounce house was the one that looked like a farm. For some reason, I didn't take ANY pictures of them getting eggs. What was I thinking?!?
After church, we came home to pack and head to Cushing. I came downstairs to find Brayden with his toes painted - don't know why he only painted one foot. He proudly told me that he did it all by himself! Luckily, the polish wasn't anywhere but his toes ... and a little on his lip. Abby was upset because he 'didn't stay between the lines like mommy does'.
Saturday night we went to Nana's for an Easter egg hunt with cousins Brett and Alexis. They had such a good time!
We finished Saturday night with coloring Easter eggs with Mame'. WOW - what a day!
On Easter Sunday, the Easter bunny came. So they enjoyed their baskets and then hunted their eggs he hid! We then had breakfast with Papa, but I forgot to take pictures! After a wonderful lunch made by Mame' and Abby, they had ANOTHER Easter egg hunt!
I told you - it was going to be a long post! I hope you enjoyed.
